Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNESSA CAMINETSKY Nessa Caminetsky died peacefully on Monday, December 18, 2006 surrounded by her family. She will be sadly missed by her children, Margo and Barry Berger, Michael Caminetsky, and Marc and Heather Caminetsky, as well as her three granddaughters, Sara Katz, Sydney Caminetsky, and Nikki Caminetsky. She was predeceased by her husband Dr. Sydney Caminetsky in 1967; her parents, Molly and Hesse Levinson; her brother Aaron (Bud) Levinson and his wife Irene, and her sisters, Muriel Levinson and Abby Raetzen. Nessa was born in Winnipeg on February 17, 1924. She was an occupational therapist in her early years and later a business woman, running the Dufferin Drug Company and The Needlepoint Place. She was an avid reader and loved playing Canasta with her childhood friends. Nessa was a very determined independent woman who always took pride in making her own choices and decisions. She was a good listener and was never afraid to say what she really thought. Nessa will be lovingly remembered by her children; grandchildren; sister Ruth Moscovich of Vancouver; brother-in-law Al Raetzen, and many nieces and nephews. Sincere thanks to the staff of the St. Boniface Hospital Emergency Department and 5A for their excellent care and kindness during this very difficult time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, the Kidney Foundation of Canada, or a charity of your choice. In accordance with Nessa's wishes there will be no Shiva.
